  • Books in good condition (Large Print, Regular Print, Fiction, Non-fiction).

  • Audio books on CD.

  • DVD’s in good condition.

  • Encyclopedias

  • Text Books

  • Magazines

  • Books on cassette tapes

  • Videotapes (VHS)

  • Damaged, damp or moldy books

  • Home recorded/burned CD’s or DVD’s

  • Loose disks without their original cases/packaging

What Happens to Donated Books

  • Many are sold in our annual book fair, or our daily book cart sale.

  • Some are added to the Library’s collection.

  • Some are offered to local non-profit organizations.

  • Some are shared with other libraries.

If the condition is not acceptable for any of the above, books may be discarded.
Donations become property of the Library and may be added, shared or discarded as determined by the Library Director
